We have a customer that wants a contract on a used KM4850W. What should we charge ? Our other wide format customers are all billable, so I'm not sure what we should charge .

When wide format machines are put under a maintenance contract it is usually 1 of 2 ways, either per linear foot charge or by square foot charge. I think that the linear foot charge is easier to calculate. Do you know if the customer will be using the same width paper always or changing widths regularly? Not sure what the going rates for either type are right now.
