i've an 830 up with the message to change the oil roller. The roller has been changed but the message is still there. The fuse is not blowing. There does seem to be contact with the connector on the rear of the m\c. Any thoughts?
A sure cure for sea sickness is to sit under a tree.
I'd guess id try changing out the fuse unit with a known good one, or try a completly diffrent oil roller, try to isolate the problem to either the oil roller or the unit.
We had this same problem and we needed to change the holder switch oil assy. (#2BM68120). That is the part that makes contact with the fuse assy you mentioned. You will have to remove the engine and power source PCB to get to the back of this switch where it plugs in. If you pull the drum assy out you can get to the screw that holds the part in but I don't think you'll be able to unplug it from there. It's a lot of work but this is most likely the problem. The new ones are modified slightly so hopefully they will hold up better. Good Luck !! P.S. If you haven't installed the updated DV clutches yet this would be a good time to do that.
