Have a 5016 in a school that is dropping colors. Like if a line of text is supposed to be purple, part will come out pink. I can't find anything about it in the service manual. Have to go there Monday morning, need any help anyone has to offer soon! Thanks

See if the machine needs the update kit, get that out of the way first, firmware, just to get by I would make sure all the drum and developer HV contacts are seated properly. Make sure the LED's are seated properly in the primary corona units, check KMA connect for all the info on this model, it is extensive.

I agree with Airborne overall; most likely cause is HV contact springs at right end of drum units-make sure they are not bent over.

Don't forget the quickest and simplest thing you can do - clean the main charge corona and LED in each unit. That's the first thing I do on every service call.

I cleaned the charge wires and it seems to be working alright. But the lady says that it doesn't do it all the time......wierd, huh!
