I have a 4050, the gal said she was running it today and the machine jammed and threw this code. I unplugged all of the accessories and reseated the op panel Dimm and the one on the main board. Still popping the code. When you turn it on the blue screen stays on for around 5 minutes then you get the Kyocera screen, then the machine comes to ready and pops the code right away telling you to recycle the machine. I tried swapping dimms with one in shop and updated the firmware to the highest level before and after swapping dimms to no prevail.

I ended up yesterday getting some time to work on the machine, I was able to format the hard drive and the code popped back up again, I went back and took another set of dimms off of a 4050 demo unit. Then the machine came to ready.
I reseated the suspected bad dimms back in the demo unit reflashed the firmware and then that machine came to ready. FFFFFFFFFF so I am not sure what fixed what.

Thanks

Just had this code on a KM-4050. Tech support was a great help. I tried reflashing firmware first with no success. I ended up backing up everything from the hard drive to a USB stick using MM U917. Everything backed up successfully except the "PROGRAMS" portion indicated error. Reformatted the hard drive, then pushed all items from the USB stick back to the hard drive. Only thing that was lost was the actuall documents that the customer had actually stored onto the hard drive in the custom boxes they had set up. They are happy that the copier is back running though and will re-store the documents when they get time. Glad I didn't have to leave the copier down to order a board or HDD.

We had a 5050 with the same thing. Updated firmware first, no change. Then, formatted HDD (U024) and booted just fine. Event log shows a bunch of HDD related errors, too.

Just thought I should post up a confirmation.
