Its in inch Mode cleaned the pcb in dp-410 I will order one in case has anyone seen this you can select orginal size but auto size in doc feeder will show A4? Help Jeff

What does it show using the platten glass in APS mode?

Normally when in inch mode that's all you'll get.
Have you tried updating the firmware (even reflashing with the same version)?

scoful its in inch mode does fine off the glass I called copystar they want me to try sensor pcb 1st .part ordered here we go I'll keep us posted my first time with this trouble. Jeff

I think I would try unplugging the sensor pcb on a working one to see if it defaults out to a metric size. If it defaults to an inch size when it's unplugged you should get the same result on the machine with the problem if you unplug it too.

Normally, if a machine is set to inch specifications it absolutely will not detect anything as a metric size.
This is because many metric sizes are very close to the inch sizes, so it would take a lot more sensors to detect sizes properly.

Please let us know if the PCB fixes it.

Sorry Scoful holiday season about kept me to busy the sensor pcb in doc feeder tray made all the difference we are working-the customer called it a procsimity sensor makes me want to take off running before it goes off .Ha Ha Jeff
