I have a KM 6030 w/ 400K In a law firm. They scan to email,print, and copy. Intermittantly they recieve an image with the top two inches or so blank. This only happens when scanning, never on copy, and is multiple sheets 11X81/2 single side through doc feed.Any ideas?

Had a similar problem with a 5035 and went to device defaults and set scan function to full scan which apparently turns off any edge erasure and that fixed mine but the blank area was not quite as big as yours ??

swamp>>>check ur rj 45 use a another port ..& or wire also up the scan firm... but it sound s like bad rj..to me..good luck buddy...

Thanks gents, after i left the account i wished i had swapped print, and scan cables. Going back tomorrow. Will install known good cables, and reload all firmware... Let yall the results. Of course the issue is intermittant, so time will tell. Keep the faith!
