I have a machine in the field that is doing something strange. The first 20 copies come out at normal speed then the machine slows down to 60cpm, I thought at first it was a feed problem but it does it out of both sides of the deck and the LCC. It's almost like it's in skip feed like a duplicator, you can hear the delay in paper feed. I checked the paper setting thinking they somehow set it for thick paper but it's not. Any idea's ? Thanks.

Just a hunch: it may be worth pulling out the fuser and checking over the heat lamps. It should detect if a sub-heater is open, but if the lamps are not plugged into the right connectors, then there could be a problem with keeping the fuser up to temperature as it does a longer run.

Chris,
That is what I thought it was as I had just replaced the Heat Roller when I noticed it. It turned out to be the Fuser Control Temps were down by 10 degrees, I may have lowered it at one time because of a jamming problem. Thanks for the help, good call.
