I have a 820 that will come up from low power with no problem. But when it comes up from sleep mode it just stays at the kyrocera screen and does nothing. The only way to get it to clear is to turn the main power off and on.Machine runs fine.Customer wants it right.formatted harddrive and reloaded firmware. No help.Any ideas?

Can you just turn off auto-sleep and let it just go to energy saver?

Just replaced harddrive and engine board.still no help. I have a task 820 at my office I have been taking stuff off for troubleshooting. One thing I noticed was that when it comes out of the sleep mode I don't see any response from the optics.compared to another machine. This machine the scanner doesn't find home and the lamp does not come on??hmmm?but again it you turn it on with the main power it comes on and works fine.
