Just in the past week have had 3 different 5530s(one might have been a 4530) developer units start making a squeaking or rubbing noise. Two of the machines made the noise when the main motor was ran in sim30 and the other only made the noise when the feed motor was ran. Lubed up all the gears in the dv unit on this one and noise has not come back(yet). Ran sim30 main motor on the other two for a few minutes after lubbing gears but noise still comes back? Anyone experience this? Could it have to do with the change in weather(temp)? Have not called tech support yet because they've never been able to help me with a squeak yet. Any feedback would help, thanks.

You need to isolate the squeak to either the auger bushings or developer roller. Developer rollers that squeak often get louder when the developer is dumped out and turned by hand. Removing the gears and turning the augers individually by hand is my usual method for checking them for noises.

I would also check the toner auger that augers toner from the toner hopper and connects to the dv unit. If you disconnect the auger from the dv unit and pull out on the top piece and turn the white coupling so that toner drops out you might have a squeak coming from there.
