Weird problem where a blank page comes out in the same location where there should be a printed page when printing PDF. Another billing program will sometimes produce partial print on the page with half a page missing. Firmware and print drivers(KX)updated with no help. Set emulation to PCL6 no help. Reseated connections and cleaned HV contacts. Anyone else seen this

Can you give more details? Is it only on prints?

Did you check or uncheck "data pass through"

The customer feels certain they would have noticed blank/missing pages in their new patient packs which is their primary copier usage. They seem certain pblm is only when printing. Did not check or uncheck data pass through. I will look at my driver to see what you are referring to. Thanks to all

If changing the PDL to PCL6 or 5e didn't help, try setting it to PDF. Your limited somewhat on your output controls but give it a try. If you switch back to the KPDL language definately uncheck the "Allow Data Passthrough" in the settings area. I had a customer once with a KM-C3232 that claimed stuff was missing from on their payroll checks when they printed them out. It ended up being something with their payroll program. Specialty programs can be a real pain sometimes.

It has been several weeks now and the problem has not come back. Last thing I did was reseat laser connectors and clean HV contacts. One thing I noticed while doing this that may have been a factor was that the screw that locks in the drum unit was missing but the unit appeared to be secured all the way in. The developer locking screw was missing also but latched nonetheless. That doesn't explain missing whole pages of print but stranger has happened I guess. This problem has dissappeared for as long as 6 weeks before. I will post all I know. Many thanks to all respondents for your expertise.
