We have had 4 calls in the last week on Falcon machines for grinding noises, turned out to be 4 toner cartridges binding up, anyone else seeing this?

I have not seen this particular problem. I have seen rocks of toner getting into the developer causing black lines on copies. Apparently this is due to customers not sufficiently shaking the toner cartridge prior to installation. Maybe this is the same problem?

I've seen it a couple of times: had to shake the thing up real good, then hand crank the augers to loosen it up. Still beats a toner bomb on a DC-6590.

Im not sure what a falcon machine is . But we have had several KM-1810 cartridges bind up and cause grinding noises.
