Have a KM-5050 that we just setup for scan to email. The customer is using an exchange 2007 server. We can scan to email all internal company email address, but can't send outside the office. Have IP address set for SMTP server and port 25. No authentication. Click on test and connection OK. DNS is set to local domain controller. Relay is off on exchange server and customer doesn't want to add IP address of the 5050 to relay. Any suggestions.
I would have them set up authentication, If they can not set you up with an email name and password I would try it by using one of the existing customers name and password and give that a try.
