Having paper fanfold coming out of fixing unit. replaced fyser, complete exit section, replaced all parts around paper fixing guide & exit guide, & press roll claws. I have never had it happen to me while there, but have gone there and found the paper fanfolded there. Seems to be intermittant, but still happens frequently to them. looks like changing the exit sec. should have been it, unless exit motor isn't coming on at times. dont' know for sure what turns that motor on. Anywhy, hope someone might have more suggestion, please

Thanks--geg

Did you check all the conveying switches thru Sim? Also, what jam code is coming up? The motors/clutches are all activated by timing and the actuation of the paper path switches. Switches have been known to be intermittent. The other issue with that machine is the one way pulley on the eject unit. Remove the unit and on the front side of one of the two shafts there is a pulley with a one-way bearing inside it, clean/replace that pulley.

Without a doubt replace the one-way pulley. You can use a green scrubby to clean up the shaft or if you want to be sure replace the shaft also. I have a print shop with four machines that they will sometimes run for a week nonstop. I started replacing the pulley at every PM.

Just underneath the vertical convey there is a guide. That guide should have a spring attached so that it snaps back in place when opening. That spring may have popped loose. Had the same problem a while back and took me forever to figure it out. Had to look at the parts manual and go through each assembly piece by piece to find the problem.
