I have already swapped Drum Unit, transfer unit, cleaned the snot out of machine, and checked connecters. Could the power supply be going bad? I checked wall outlet and found it had 16amps draw WITHOUT the copier being plugged in. So much for the dedicated line! They are having this fixed and maybe that is the problem, but wanted to check with the EXPERTS. Thanks, COPIERDUDE497 Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?

I don't see that the developer unit has been tried yet. Could be worth a shot before resorting to a power supply. ================================================== Chris L's Hiking/Geocaching blog (new and improved!) yoyoartist.blogspot.com

I'm also getting flashbacks of Firmware readme files and/or Tech bulletins that spoke of transfer on/off timing adjustments. Also a particular bulletin addressing NEW TYPE transfer roller. I recommend reviewing the bulletins and readme files.

I read thru the 40plus page list of firmware changes and there it was in the last couple of pages! Transfer timing was changed to prevent toner getting on transfer roller. COPIERDUDE497 Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?
