Just curious if anybody else is having trouble with FS-3040/3140 series squeaking. Just about every one we've had has had squeaking in the fuser exit/turnaround section, yet tech support seemed to have no idea....

What I have found on the 1028/1128, 3040/3140, is they seem to put way too much "RED" grease from the factory on the registration roller shafts and on and around the feed clutch gears, this grease becomes very sticky and does two things one is squeeking, squeeling, chirping noises the other is intermittant paper jams around the registration roller area, I have seen this at least 5 times in the last 6 months, all of the machine were less than a yr old. Called Kyocera TS and also showed this to our Kyo Tech Rep when he was last out, I guess I am the only one having this problem. uh huh.
