Worked on a couple of Fax machines with J43. I've been replacing the REG Pcb (reg PIs board) to fix jamming with paper lead edge in Fuser. I replaced the exit swith (in fuser) just in case of J44. Worked on both machines. Today, after waiting for 45 days for a back ordered Reg Pcb, my third 1060 with J43 kept jamming ramdonly. A this point I am not sure if Kyocera -"Panasonic" sent me a defective sensor. I'm ordering 2 sensors and a board for this frustated customer. Does anybody have problems with J43? About compromise... There's nothing in the middle of the road except yellow stripes and road kill.

The fuser problems i've seen have been mostly the press roller stalling. I know what I know better than anyone else knows what I know.

Guru, what fixed your j43 problem? I have a f1060 with a j43 that will not clear.

The sensor flag was broken off. Found it, fixed it.

Glad you fix it. My fix was replacing the fixing unit every year in this account (doc office with fax machine working all day) About compromise... There's nothing in the middle of the road except yellow stripes and road kill.

If the press roll is dirty or has a dull finish, the fuser is ready to be replaced. I know what I know better than anyone else knows what I know.
