Customer scans to Email are faded and washed out i have cleaned optics and looked for any settings in service can't seem to find any adjustments for scaning in color tried adj the exposure and increasing DPI no luck..

Sounds weird, but have you cleaned the bottom of the copybard and slit glass? I've seen one or two 2050's where there is a haze on the bottom of the glass causing similar washed out images.

Yes I have but to no avail ... I can't belive there is no adjustments for color scanning ..

There is a "scanner noise" setting, which when turned on will lighten the copies (so most likely the scans), somewhere in the system menu. We turn it on with hopes of black line correction. Maybe yours is on?
