Make sure that the MP tray settings match what you choose from within the print driver at the PC. When these settings are not identical (size, type, weight), then the printer prompts you to place that paper in the MP tray and press GO.

Make sure MP tray is set as cassette, that way the machine won't ask for the Go command

About compromise...

Just a question " Is your auto continue on?"
Also as Guru states is the MP tray set to cassette? Shouldn't be a problem then.....

As Andrew stated, be sure the PRINTER MP tray settings and DRIVER MP tray settings are identical.

Mp tray is set to cassette and the page size is set to letter on the machine. Problem is the customer uses a variety of custom sizes. And every time they switch size the mp tray needs the go button pushed. Short of shooting the machine or teaching them to change the size via menu is there another way to avoid the "press go" button on this machine?

Never having done this before, using the web interface, how is this done? Do I use the command prompt and copy to the IP address? Or do I use the built in web page to ssend the command using a web browser?
Thank you for the quick response. Sometimes these machines can get ahead of me.

I just ralized what you meant. There is a send data tab on what I call the built in web page, you called it a web interface. Just too early in the morning to think without a tall glass of iced tea and a baconaegg and cheese biscuit from Bojangles.

That string worked great. Had a bit of problems finding the tab. But once it was entered she could print tot the MP tray without any problem. Unless she runs out of paper. Then she does have to actually hit the go button.

Thanks again. You may have seen my rant about the customer in another thread. This is one customer I sincerely hope calls at 4:30 tomorrow afternoon, like they did last week, with a problem. Simply because unlike last week when I went to try to help them, I can then say. "sorry but that will have to wait until monday. I have other plans for after work tonight"
