i have installed a new C5300DN printer at my customers but it prints very slow compared to thier old xerox printer allthough specs on the new printer are better.

any one have this before???

Try upgrading the ram. The RAM disk size is small on these units (cannot be expanded without more ram). I have a client with a C5100DN that comlained about speed and memory errors, added 512 MB now its printing faster with no memory errors.

Try using the generic Abobe postscript driver and the KM PPD's, you will be shocked at how fast it prints. see this link to an old post before having a customer upgrade ram or add a HDD
