It's a strong possibility. Can you measure DC anywhere in the machine? Problem is that the power supply (and engine PCB) are very labor intensive to replace. It's in the very bottom of the printer inside of a cage. You must do a lot of disassembly to get to the point that you can lift the entire top of the printer off of the metal base. It can turn into a job where it's cheaper to replace the printer.
