... no copying or printing available. SMB/Scan to email works fine. Machine has no finisher/bridge unit. This is my first service call for 2012... tried to help the customer over the phone to no avail. I was wondering if anybody seen/heard of this problem! Happy and Prosperous New Year to everybody!

Is it possible that your customer has a full exit tray? Or maybe dislodged the exit sensor? =^..^= =^..^=

My best guess is that they have knocked loose the exit stack height sensor actuator, it is easy to do as I have done it myself. It doesn't come out just causes it to bind up and you get the inner (main exit) tray full message. Good Luck and Best Wishes for the new year.

Hi! The machine has a job separator... by the looks of it I think it's part of the machine... There is an actuator on the bottom of it (thanks Jeff!)and you have to take the exit unit out in order to see and put back the actuator correctly. If you ever have to put back the actuator do not try to take the exit assy from the inside! Those covers are a pain to take out and put back (without breaking at least 1 tab) and it does not come out that way. If you remove the fixing assy you will see 2 chrome plastic screws holding the exit assy. Take them out and take out the harness from its holder and you'll be able to flip the exit assy. (while holding it) and fit back the actuator in its place. Also when you put back the assy you have to fit both actuators in first and than the unit, otherwise the actuator pops back out. Thanks for all your help!
