Top Drawer intermittently says it is overloaded. It is not. I tried swapping sensors, then swapping feed units. Still does it. Open/close drawer and message goes away. What is going on????? COPIERDUDE497 Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?

Pull the drawer completely out and check both the connector on the back of the drawer and the the connector inside the machine that it pugs in to. Sometimes really tiny pieces of paper will get stuck inside the connectors and you have to pry them out. I use this dental pick looking tool I found at the flea market, works great. But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

I went back and switched lift motors, sensors, feed units, connectors,re-seated Feed PWB and it got to the point it would not reset so therefor it would not copy/print at all! COPIERDUDE497 Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?

I got BADLY caught out once when the machine was insisting on screen that: 'Too much paper in Top Tray' After messing with the feed unit for several minutes it suddenly occured to me that 'top tray' was the exit area, NOT a paper tray - the user had knocked out the eject/level sensor actuator!! I felt a right twit!
