I went to 1st Christian today because her number keys were not working.

When I got there here is what I found.

If you touched any number key it would beep but the display would not change.
If I chose more than one copy the job would not print and it would stay in the que until canceled
I could get into service mode from job status or the copy screen
Removed DIMM and cleaned it. No effect.
When in service mode and I used a number key it would change on the display.
I ran 906 no effect
Exported from 917 and imported back only change was when selecting more than 1 copy it would print just one copy.
Reloaded firmware. No effect
Formatted HDD. No effect.
Finally I ran Sim 21 and reinitialized. That fixed the problem.

Notes: You guys may be aware of this but here is what I had to do after the fix.

Could not print. Had to reenter the IP info
Sleep timer was reset to 3 min
Copy default was reset to color instead of B/W
Could not scan. In the address book location was Scans (SMB). On the server the folder was scans. I changed the address book to scans and it worked.
There may be other things that were changed but I couldn’t find any.
