I have a KM-C3225 (non-E) that puts a 1 to 2 inch blue streak across the print and/or copy from lead to trail edge. It seems to clean itself up after awhile. This has happened every 3 months, like clockwork. I vacumn all dev and drum assys, recycle tubes and augers.(I also check for freedom of movement in each dev, drum assy) I do the same to the transferbelt along with it's augers and brushes. it works great for 3 months and begins to streak again, always Blue. It has the new Dev assys, new transferbelt, and a new fuser; all because they have failed in the last year. There is never any evidence of Cyan toner piled up anywhere. I have scheduled this thing to be cleaned every 2 and a half months to try to stay ahead of the problem. What I'd really like is a solution. UNBELEIVABLE! I just received an e-mail fron an end-user with a KM-C3232E that is doing the same thing.

You say blue. Do you mean Cyan? I have seen drum cleaning blades cause a streaking problem. You did not mention changing the drum or main charger for Cyan. If you pull the drum and remove the charger you can see the blade. Match up the copy with the drum blade. You can see where it might be damaged. If so replace the drum assy.

I have been having the exact same problem I just swapped the Magenta and Cyan Drum units just to see if the problem stays with the Cyan or moves to a Magenta streak. She says it does it when she is doing a big run. I updated the firmware, increased to calibrate more. I told her to call back if it does it again. It has been 2 weeks now no response as of yet.

Gazoo,
Yes, I meant Cyan. And Techboy, I'll be really interested if swapping drums changes the color of your streak. Drums and charge rollers are the only things that haven't been replaced.
Thanks for helping guys!

Guys,
I Flashed the Firmware again and it seems to be resolved. I have rarely had problems with firmware updates and we're very diligent about performing them. I had 2 Voyagers with Blue Streaks and re-flashed them both.
