Has anyone come up with a solution to alleviate the loud operation of the DP-771?

These are my findings:

TA_i with DP-771 - Users of the Ta_i series have a "DP Read Action" available that will adjust the operational speed of the processor. Using "Speed Priority", these processors operate an extremely high noise level. Using "Quality Priority" the noise level is substantially diminished.

TA_ci with DP-771 - Users of the TA_ci series do not have this option available for users. Hence all processing is performed at high speed and the noise generated from these units is raising some concern from our Marketing Department.

The loud operational noise is generated from the registration motor and drive gear assembly. The other operational noise is coming from the exit roller assembly. We have dismantled the units trying to find the cause but have not come up with a solution. Any advice?

I have had two units doing that! to get rid of the noise, i had to change out the feed motor for the dp, and the noise went away, part number is # 303m494040
