I got a good one. One of my tech came across a 400ci that is displaying c2352 cleaning motor faulty. He called support and told him he needs to replace the motor and engine board. did not work. I asked him did he remove the iu's and dv units and did it do the same thing? Yes
i will check the connector first... this sounds like a connector is loose or total motor failure...u can check the motor with another tech on sim 030...one @ the control panel and the other in the back of mfp...believe me,is not easy if u dont have someone watching the motor operation ...im 100% percent sure is a loose connector...
well I found out the tech checked the motor without a load. I told him to order the motor yesterday and he fixed the machine. Thanks for the info fellow members.
I had the same exact problem with a 250ci. I replaced the cleaning motor and the engine control pwb like the manual said but that didn't fix the problem. I ended up having to replace all four of the motors (2 cln, and 2 dev) and the motor control pwb which fixed the problem.
I just had a 250ci with similar problems. Symptoms: no color printing: no error code. after checking drums, dev units, and tranfer belt for possible lock up, traced fault to color DLP motor. Replaced and worked fine for 3 days and then error code 2350. this time the color CLN motor went faulty. replaced and machine working fine. Note both motors were from the same batch. I did not have to change the motor control pwb
