Has anybody experienced or has issues with transfer belts particularly on the 400ci, the belt appears to be tracking off centre as though theres to much pressure on one side, the sensor flag on the side of the belt then catches the pulse timing sensor then the actual belt starts to crease and tear, fit a new belt and away she goes as good as new.
Any feedback would be useful, growing even more grey hair.
All the best from the UK.

Cool2support..so far the belt is a real issue , the problem is simple the belt becomes loose due the cam for the transfer roller contantly pressing into it...around 100k you start to see the wear on the belt & it comes off completely from the assy...i think the new version has been improve a lot...good luck with the issue... replace & send for credit like we all do.

DUMMIETEK...missing real challenges!!! Cool1

I saw a bulletin just recently about placement of seals on the drum units to prevent this. It is Bulletin #5 for the Ta-400/500ci units here in the US. It is a matter of replacing the drum units with the new seal placements or buying new seals and replacing them toward the middle by 3 of 4 millimeters on existing drum units before it damages the belt. Look for the bulletin or other info on it on your side of the pond because it gives specific placement pictures and part numbers for the new seals. I'll go get a look at it for you. No charge for my time, just the cost of a plane ticket. Business Class, of course! Big Grin
