Brand new just pulled it out of the box, it keeps saying that the toners are not installed correctly, i just do not get it, unlocked the lock, push toner into place what could be the problem

it finally started up, i had to let the machine warm up a bit, put the toners in one at a time, it was only the magenta that was wrong and i still dont know why it was wrong to about 20 tries to get it to work right... not looking good having an issue with the very first one we got right out of the box.

did you change the toners we had one and had to try 3 sets and then it worked

no i did not have to change the toners it finally worked? i still have no idea what the cause was though.

HAD ONE THAT THE SMALL TAB THAT UNLOCKS THE SHUTTER ON TONER CONTAINER WOULD NOT RELEASE. BENT A LITTLE AND OPENED BY HAND A COUPLE OF TIMES, WORKS OK NOW.

I've seen this about 4 or 5 times now. It would really help if the display told you which toner it had a problem with.

Ordinarily I pull the toner and jiggle the lever on the right side-end that moves the shutter. I had one where I just had to swap the toners between copiers to make the message stop. Seems to be some kind of sloppy tolerance for detecting that shutter lever.

There is a small cam on the end of the toner cartridge. If this cam is not in the correct position, the machine wont accept it. The cam open the slot for toner to fall into machine. There are two distinct slots for this cam. When the hole is totally closed, this is the correct position.

I have only seen this on new run up toner that is shipped with the machine. Have not seen it yet on replacement toner.
