I have a new TA-400ci that will not recognize the doc feeder. The doc feeder is the old style non (B) version. What seems to be going on is everything will work until the customer opens the doc feeder to use the glass. When the doc feeder is closed the copier won't see the feeder. If all you do is power off/on the copier the fedder will work until it is opened again.

Depending on the MFPs serial number that DP may be incompatible. Theres a bulletin on the (B) version accessories. I'll dig it up tomorrow.

Fixed. Blackcat, both the feeder and the copier were ordered at the same time. They have been sitting in my warehouse for some time now. I replaced the feeder with another non-B version feeder and the problem went away. So it is fixed for now until I need the other feeder.
