We have a CS-400ci jamming when ejecting into the finisher. We go out and can't repeat the jam, but it shows in counts. The thing I am curious about is has anyone had trouble with these when they are on well-padded carpets. Last call for this, we found parts on the left door broken, including door latches and paper guides. The machine sits on padded carpet and sinks down to the point where the finisher is almost impossible to pull back from the machine to clear a jam, and I wonder if anyone has seen this cause a problem, maybe from the machine not aligning correctly with the finisher. Has anyone developed a good method to re-align this stuff or loosen up the finisher so it moves more freely? This machine has a very narrow allowance for alignment of the finisher. There is a place on the floor in our shop where we get a similar jam to the finisher. If you move the machine 6 feet, it stops. It is only on the color machines. Any suggestions? Am I on the wrong track?
