I just installed a 250ci with booklet option for finisher. When you select booklet mode and choose 1 sided or 2 sided , or basically anything from the booklet mode option it prints out in the middle tray. The copier says and shows on the main screen that the job will exit from the folder unit, but it still prints out in the copier top tray(???). If you select saddle stitch from the staple option, it works and exits at the folder. What gives..... does anybody have any ideas?? We don't sell too many of these, so i don't have too much experience with them. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I updated to 3.05 version, so its up to date. I didn't check this before upgrading firmware. I have another one to install today w/booklet option so i will check before upgrading.
Yes, it was more than 1 sheet. I think it was 4 originals, but now that you mention this....i wonder if thats what it is(?). If i have 4 orig...2 on each side (duplex)...that would output only 1 page, correct? I thought i used more than 4 orig when testing it but maybe i didn't. I will make sure i check this on todays install. THanks.
Yea, they took away the option of folding a single sheet on the T/A. You were able to fold a single sheet on the Voyagers and all others. I was told that an upgrade will add that feature back in along with others. Was suppose to be out by now, but as always, another delay....
Actually Kyocera is looking into that issue at the moment. 4 A4 sheets to one A3 will show on the driver that the output is the folding tray but it will exit to the center tray or default tray. Known issue.
