Hi i've just replaced all 4 drums and Devs + the transfer belt in the Taskalfa 300ci and immediately updated the firmware to the current version.(Pack MAIN: V12.00, ENHANCE: V1.13)
TASKalfa_ 250_ 300_ 400_ 500ci_ 12.00.0020_ (2011-07-14).I did AC Calibration procedure as required. Ran dev & Drum refresh etc - now this machine is giving me weird colour prints with streaks accross the image caused by arcing. The black prints are fine.I have followed the AC calib procedure as in the service bulletins over & over, no change.I have put back the old units to see if any difference - still doing the same thing which leads me to assume that this could have been caused by the Firmware? Any suggestions or solutions?

you never tried the old xfer unit back in?

I agree it could be the contacts or the rollers in the new transfer belt. Sounds like Drew hit the nail on the head.

Remove the duplex guide on the cover before taking out the transfer unit. If you don't the contacts will get deformed. It gets in the way and causes the contacts to get deformed.
Two screws to remove. You can notice it because when removing the transfer unit it has to lift over this.
To reform the contacts you will have to remove the bias unit to straighten them out.
