| If it's the rear side it's a dirty polygon mirror. In the voyager series the polygon mirror assembly sits inside the cavity of the laser unprotected. After a while the plastic housing starts to degas and the edges of one side of the mirror assembly get a haze on them. Have had about 20 or so do this. The laser is sealed only with fiber tape so you can peel it off and reuse it. Clean it and you'll be good to go for another couple of years.The Taskalfalfa (yes I said alfalfa) has an encased polygon, looks like it's in a WWII pill box. Z

| I have seen this on the alfalfas also, it shows on the color belt printout. Only on the black and magenta, which is the top and bottom of the mirror. That is where the swirl occures. |
