I have one of these machines that is jamming when duplexing and stapling, I have swapped out the job seperator and the turn around section and the machine still jams. Seems to have two sheets coming through the turn around section when it jams. The duplex looks like a nightmare to get at on these machines. Any ideas?
Check the defaults of the drive timing. I had a tech telling me that some were off comparing with the manual. Not sure which clutch or motor but it fixed the machine.
About compromise... There's nothing in the middle of the road except yellow stripes and road kill.

Went To A Call Today For J-60 Jams When Duplex/Stapling Copy Jobs. Updated The Firmware To Version 12 and Then It Starts J-51 Jams Instead. Just Read Over QA 9035 about the Rib Interference In The Duplex Frame. Wondering If I Can Sort Of Modify This Frame Temporarily While I Wait For The new Frame?
We have never replaced the frame, just modified it per bulletin. Knock on wood never had a call back on any of them. First one was well over a year ago.

J-51 is a bulletin #8 on the rotate guide J-60 would relate to the duplex guide switch

This one ended up being the duplex guide switch, I ended up having to do around 15 modifications to the duplex cutting out the two ribs to allow the switch to swing freely. Ended up having the same problem with the 2050's in the registration section.
