When I send a print job over, it is received by the copier but will not print. The message that I get is Error has occured, PLS change to print screen and check. When I go to the print screen, the paper size shows 11 X 81/2. When I press go the copier says processing but goes back to the same error. The error also says set paper and press go. That does not work.

Is it specifying a paper source, like MP Tray? Is it specifying a paper type, like Plain? If so, is that paper source set for the proper type and size?

The paper size that it is asking for is loaded. Copier will not print a confimation page. Just says printing

I would first establish if you can make a photocopy without any problem from that exact drawer. Those drawers are notorious for having dirty paper width detection sensors that start reporting 11x8.5 paper as 8.5x11 or 5.5x8.5 size.

Passing that test, I look to see if it can print any other print job correctly. Sometimes a document is so screwed up that it won't print.

Also, you have checked the firmware level of the copier and the print system, right? There have been no updates for years, but there were a few back in the day.

Is the 8026N printer the same print board as the 2630D
