"Error occurred at cassette 3. Open cassette 3 check and remove paper from inside the machine"
Checked contacts and switches, reseated motor plugs. Rebooting or 906 will fix it, but no c-codes are showing up.
Also, only at startup (power off/on) there is a loud, baritone, rotating noise coming from the back of the machine. I only have one TaskAlfa so I was wondering if that is normal.
Except we haven't found a fix for it yet. On mine, the copier gives that message when the right side of the LCF is empty, yet it works fine if there are at least 5 sheets of paper in there. After replacing every switch and the LCF PCB, my tech rep suggested that it's a mechanical issue where it doesn't lift soon enough and the machine gives up.

My rep sent me a fix yesterday. It's an internal Kyo doc w/ pics made by a Kyo tech.
A brief description would be that the right-side metal support frame (welded on) is bent up. This most likely will happen from lifting the LCC out of the box by these two support frames. I haven't seen if you can pull them down from the inside, or if you have to take the whole machine off.
