Does anyone know how to use Cygwyn tool or have advice when using it? I'm told it's difficult and to follow all instructions to detail

If memory serves me correctly you will need to find an older version of Cygwyn. The one on their website is the newer version and does not work. I no longer have the older version, but if you check with your Tech Rep or the Hotline, they can get it for you. I got it from our Tech rep. And yes, you do need to follow the instructions carrefully.

It's much easier if you can get your hands on the Konica Minolta Firmware Imaging Tool 2006. From what I've been told, you must use a 128MB card. Anyway, the program is pretty straightforward and a lot easier than going the cygwin route.

My area tech rep has that tool for firmware upload to those models. He got it from konica/minolta I believe.

I have used both and the one from konica/minolta is alot easier to use and it is imperative that you use a 128 meg card.. DUKE
