I wanted to replace the fuser in this 8100 DN because of noise...the new fuser gave me a c 6030 old fuser works fine, I put another new fuser in and also upgraded the firmware and this fuser gave me a c 6030. I can install the original fuser and it works just fine. thanks in advance for any ideas
I would try these new fusers on another machine, if possible. I did get a bad fuser out of the box once, I wouldn't think two would be bad. Are these fusers the right ones?

Pull the connector side of the fuser apart and check the pins on the double male connector. I Have had several where the pins were pushed thru and not making contact on both sides. Specifically the 3 pin connector.
Just a update, i went in service mode and somewhat reset fuser code sim 163.1...it gave me a value of 20 whatever that means i did it a few times and it is working now
