If your ever stuck out there with a bad motor take a look a bulletin #6. there is a good picture of the fuse that fails. If you heat up the fuse with your soldering iron it will fall off from the board. Then it just takes a bit of solder to make the joint complete. Not saying use this for permanent fix, I'm just saying it will buy you some time till you can return with new motor.
Billy worked great thank you! I got a 300ci it started with a C-7102 then threw a C-7000 and now has a C-7101, for the C-7102 the CMY DV motor OHMed out at 250 K so I ordered motor. Moter is on back order till 2nd week of April so I jumped the fuse with soder and that is now working until part comes in. My question is have you seen the color motor going bad then creating BLK. DV unit problems like the following codes C-7000, C-7101 and is there a fix. At this point I am starting with BLK DV Unit, then I was going to go with the front main brd.

Yeah, I thought about jumpering the fuse myself this morning, but you have to wonder if there is any chance at warrantying the motor after modifying it like that.
