Has anyone had this problem yet. The machine is reporting an HDD failure and we are able to reset it thru sim 906 but it reoccurs every week or so. Can we use readily available HDD's or do I need to bend over for KMA? Thanks for your help in advance. ======================= I have an attention span longer than =======================

I've re-formatted a couple successfully. I do have a replacement HDD, but have never had to use it (knock on wood ... ) =^..^= =^..^=

It is a regular computer hard drive you can get from any computer parts outlet. I don't remember what drive type and size the C4035e uses, but just take it out of the machine, and write down the make and model and tell the computer people you want a replacement. Should be $40-$120. We have switched to upgrading any failing HD's to Solid State Drives. A little more $$ bur faster and more reliable. You most likely will have to reload firmware when replacing the drive.
