I know as I'm starting this post the answer is probally going to be no but here we go anyway.I have a lawyer that deals with the state and he asked with page numbering turned on we have as default P.1-1/5 or-1- choices my question is when the P.1 selection is made is ther any way to choose another letter other than "P" Ex. A.1 or B.1 Ect. at the machine I found no such selection could this be done through prescribe or Sims? At the least I just wanted to put the idea of having that available possibly in the future.
I have had requests before for 'Bates' numbering. From what I understand it's a fixed number of digits - like '0000001' so that there's no question about digit omissions and things can be amended by starting at whatever page number you want like '0000456'.
Couldn't figure out how to do it with the machine, but there is software that does it for you: ezBates
It worked for my client, but don't know what else you can do with it. It is PC based, so it only works on printing - not copying.
