It's quite a job to get to that HVT, but that seems like a logical choice to me too.

I have this problem now, what was the outcome in your case Rhino ? 313ZD what does removing the charge roller prove ? I'm assuming its one of those trouble shooting techniques if you get one condition go this direction if its another do something else? Thanks in advanced !
" In my case when I jammed the machine and pulled out transfer belt it had no Magenta stripe front to rear frame but did have C,Y,K that the machine lays down "

Removing the charge roller should make the copier print a solid coating of magenta toner. This takes the laser unit out of the equation as whether it is writing or not, there should be a solid belt of magenta.

You did not get the solid magenta, so that means you have a problem in transfer charge or developer unit bias.

I would really like to know what fixed Rhino's machine at this point I'm going with Main high voltage PWB (MHVPWB) ............ Generates high voltage for main charger high voltage and developing bias looks like R&R is going to take a bit of time. Blackcat is this the Brd. you where referring to ? 302H794360 PARTS UNIT HIGH VOLTAGE MAIN

I'm not sure what that is. For the CS-C2525E I'm showing 302JG45010 Main High Voltage Unit (MHVPWB) all others

Hi Guys, sorry I have not replied about this post. I currently have repaired three machines with this fault and the fix with them all was the main HV pcb. Be sure you have the correct pcb as there are variations for each model. You may also have to change the complete dev drive box as this is the cause of the fault. All three of my machines had badly worn bushings for the magenta drive where the fillings from the worn bushing drops onto a small horizontally mounted sub pcb directly beneath it.
