Blackcat, I had a trainie today replacing fuser rollers on a KM-6030 when doing the job he pulled out to far on the black rear frame lamp holder disconnecting a blue and white connector that goes in to the back of the connector of the fuser unit that makes connection with the rear frame. The error on the machine was "close transfer unit". Alot of time can be wasted on the obvious connections and this one is hidden in the black rear cover.

Regarding to error code CF18A on TASKalfa-Firmware Incompatibility with Engine firmware, I found that I will get this error when updating a 250ci-300ci from firmware v6 to v8 (no problem with 400ci-500ci). I had to downgrade and install v7, boot up machine (you may have a fax error in the v7 end summary- no worries), reboot again and then upgraded to v8
