I got a new one today, on a CS-2560.

"CFB2C"
It occurred after relocating the machine, and would not clear. Resolved by upgrading the firmware (currently version 2.45). I've got no good idea what it means. I don't know if it makes any difference, but the location has been closed for 3 months, and the machine has been in sleep mode. =^..^=

I'm a little late to the party. The YouSendIt link expired. Could I get that error code list?

Thanks!

FS-1128MFP -- CF248 error code.

We had a Kyocera bar code CF card in the slot. When removed, code does not come back. Call is incomplete for new card.

Thanks for the information. Please update when you have resolution.

If that doesn't work, try switching emulation from PCL XL to KPDL. =^..^=

More info: I've gotten more cfxxx code information from various sources, and have started a worksheet just for CF codes. There is some hideous translation from ?(Chinese)? which I couldn't make much sense of, so it appears as I got it. Good luck understanding it.

aragul, do you have room to host a more current list? =^..^=

Maybe I'm lost here but where all these are for Copystar.. I have Kyocera KM3060 not CS. Is that the same thing? It is getting the CFB37 error They have updated the Firmware. and did something with the memory. today they are replacing the Dimms. The Kyocera Repairman keeps telling me it is not his problem but something on our network. I set up all the 3060 Multifinction machines we have and untill today only one has been having this issue, today another one started. I have 40 of these all set up the same and only (now two) have the problem. they print fine while the error shows up but they will not scan of course because the panel is locked up with the blue screen, do you think the fix for the CS3060 would be the same for the KM3060? All these have been in place for over a year without this problem showing up till recently.
Thanks

Yes. We happen to be a Copystar dealer, but the information crosses with Kyocera Mita 100%

I think I would start by doing these two things. It's really convenient that you have 40 of the same model.

The first thing I would do is select a machine that has not ever had this problem and switch it with your problem machine. Also swap IP addresses and/or hostnames (whichever you use).

If the problem stays with the IP address and moves to the, until-lately, problem-free machine, then I would ask your tech to take some data captures, in an attempt to determine what sort of corrupt data is arriving at the copier. Data captures on this model are performed with a compact flash card that is loaded with files that will create a text log of the data arriving at the copier.

If the problem stays with the original machine, with the new IP address, then yes, it's a hardware issue of some sort that must be addressed as a hardware issue.

I have struggled with similar issues to this one. Until you've taken the steps above, you just won't know where to start. I know it's frustrating, but as you can tell from this thread Kyocera doesn't tell us what these codes mean. So we must gather what data we can to figure it out for ourselves. =^..^=

I got a new one. I can't believe that I was so right, and so stupid at the same time.

Common problem: unresponsive op panel on Falcon III. I disassembled the panel and cleaned out a curl of metal from under the bottom edge of the touch panel (it's a manufacturing plant). This is the part where I was right.

When I re-installed the board I connected the 5-pin connector to YC9. At power up, I got "Program Loading" forever. Then attempted to load firmware and got CFB31.

Well, it turns out that there are two 5-pin identical connectors. The correct one to use is YC1. Then it powered up just fine, then loaded firmware just fine. Doh! =^..^=

CFB37 Error displays apprx 25 min after an SMB scan lock @ the control panel on a KM-3060. Does not register in the event history. The cause was an imaging app rapidly retrieving the file from the watched folder before the MFP could successfully complete the deposit. A one second delay @ the app solved the problem

As you can probably tell from the Excel spreadsheet, I've not come across a cf650 error, nor has anyone told me about one.

I do believe you when you say you saw it. There are lots of codes that aren't on that list, but I add as I hear of them.

Under what circumstances do the codes occur?

Hi Blackcat.. I sat with you at the new kyocera product line about 3 weeks ago. What is new with you. Have you seen 550c kyocera with intermittent c021 codes?
