I have an issue printing mixed size .PDF files. I.E. files with 8.5x11 and 11x17 sheets in the same document. When our client sends these to the machine using and method they will only get output printed on the size that is selected in the driver. If they use the USB host interface they will get what is specified on panel or the default size. If the doc has embedded sizes they will be ignored. I have seen clients in print shops break these types of jobs with PDF authoring software packages, but this is tedious for most people.
Thanks for any input you may have on a solution / workaround!

Once again, go to the PDL area in the Print Driver and select the KPDL language then after that you have to unselect the "Allow Data Passthrough"

I recall changing that to both on and off and had the same results. I have called the hotline on this and was told that it is not supported. There is a chance that they were wrong.

Test documents: sizetest.doc sizetest.pdf

Acrobat settings:

I would like to test this issue again myself. Possibly with all of the firmware and driver updates since July when I was testing these issues there has been some changes with PCL XL. I was having some serious processing issues that were causing the customer to shut the machine off due to continuous spooling.

Great news! The updated drivers and machine firmware seem to respond correctly to these mixed size pdf files. Thanks for all of your help aragul!
