I can't get the internet browser feature to connect. It's turned on under internet in the system menu. But when you select applications it gives the error message "can't connect to server." It's setup on our network to print, scan to SMB and scan to email. Google is set for the default website with no proxy server. Anyone had experience with this one?

Good luck and may the schwartz be with me. Cool2

I played with this "marketing feature" and only worked if I set up the machine for DHCP.

I doesn't need to be set up with DHCP, but web into the machine and make certain that DNS and Gateway address are correct.

Everytime I have used DHCP, the browser would work fine. Every porn site I surfed from the panel displayed everything. Razz

I'm working on setting up a query based webpage to work with this. We'll setup a custom URL as the homepage that will take the customer to forms for service requests and supply orders.
It will generate an email with customer/machine ID information built into it.

Here's what I'm working on:

TaskAlpha Service/Supply Request Form

We set this as the browser home page with additional URL arguments for machine serial number and customer name and it emails the form to us.

Still working on it, but it's getting there....

(FYI - this doesn't look right in Internet Explorer - but does on the TaskAlpha, Chrome and FireFox I think)

UPDATE - I've removed the link above . I have this working now and don't want false notifications. If you're interested let me know and I'll share the page so you can have your own.

Hi Scotty,
We are interested in this. Any chance you are feeling generous enough to still share the page?
