Taskalfa 400ci first time I experienced this problem on any machine on print and copy it rotates the image from portrait to landscape intermittent. it even does it on duplex. One side come out portrait and second side comes out landscape. Firm ware version 8.01. at the beginning I thought customer was telling me stories and I finally saw it. Customer claims it’s been doing it since they got it and it it’s getting worse. HELP!!! Thanks ML.

I've got three or so TA color boxes that have exhibited this phenomenon. We've checked the side guide contacts in the trays, set the tray size settings to manual vs. auto, checked the clients print driver settings and these machines still seem to change from portrait to landscape at odd times. Have had it do it once while present but not since then. Clients continue to call in and tell me of the change. We've tried to pin it down to print jobs or copy jobs. Most instances appear to be print jobs. But the call usually comes in as the machine cut off part of my image. When you see the samples, the image is rotated 180 degrees out of sync with the lead edge. It's not reduced or enlarged, just wrong direction.
Un update for youall on what was creating this issue on this machine, Customer was switching paper direction from letter to letter R and vise versa, why? Don’t know 25 different users but in the process sometimes the machine would not automatically change back from letter R to letter then for; it would print landscape on a portrait paper. Replaced sized detection assy. And so far so good. ML.
guys uncheck "same as pdf on your driver" this will help u greatly with this issue..good luck..
