Anyone have one that won't wake up from sleep mode to print off Print jobs? If so, have you found a fix (other than turning off sleep mode). The machine has the latest firmware in it (supposidly, it's drop shipped to another location and I have another dealership servicing it for me).

Yes, i had a customer that said the same thing. I had to turn off the sleep mode even though i hate doing that. It has been over 3 months and have not had any problems. I know i will have to change the fuser rollers more often, but we almost lost a frustrated customer.

Thanks for the feedback Devdumper!

Come on... is no one else seeing this? I'd like to get some evidence of an epidemic before escalating the issue to Kyocera. I called the helpdesk and they said they haven't heard of this problem.

It is the "E" version so I guess that's causing the lack of replies due to it just being released and there aren't many in the field yet.

Yes, this is the 3225E.Right now i am swamped with more urgent new machine issues. For now to leave it on is a quick fix. As new updated firmware comes out i will deal with it later.

interesting post. i was able to get a similar issue on our first 4035E sort of in our demo room. Machine was in sleep mode. went to walk up and pressed energy save key and wham!!! C0840. RTC failure. so go into machine defaults toi reset time. Machine says Time for maintenance:T... yikes and the clock is 01/01/00. We try to set time in clock, but it will never save the data. This may be related. Unsure what to do next. Seems like firware issue to me(especially the time for mainteance :T. what is T? tea time or tee time? Unsure

We just had it happen with a C3225 (no E) after their network person was either upgrading drivers or something else on their network. We don't know what he did but our customer claims he fixed it.

Had 2 Voyager "E" copiers also come up with this weird "Time For Maintenance: T" message. It started out as a service call for an error code, C0840. Customer was able to cycle the power on the copier and was able to make copies again, but began to display the "Time For Maintenance: T". Looked at the clock settings and the date settings, they showed 01/01/'00 00:00. Executed a U906 to reset any error conditions and the time setting went back the current date and close to the correct time. Corrected the time on the copier and then checked the fax system time and corrected it.
Time For Maintenance:T
Date Time Errors
Firmware was only one update behind the most current version, so what the original cause was for the C0840 is pretty much unknown at this time. Machine is on a surge suppressor but maybe the battery on the main board that holds the date time setting had a momentary issue or something. I know this is sort of old info, but there are probably still alot of these models out in the field.

ive had a couple of machines now that wont wake up from sleep mode when customers try to print.
it was caused by an anti virus programe update.
avg is one of the culprits .

Thanks for Headsup
We currently use AVG 8.5 in our office, and have not experienced anything yet. What version is causing the problems?

I see this thread was started even before I posted this in the Head's Up, but yeah, it's the firewall in AVG that is the culprit.

network printing to C5300N sleep mode

Ive been moving to microsoft security essentials. So far so good, free download and little overhead. You may want to give it a go.
