I have 250ci that frequently gives faded areas with colour prints . Solid black are fine . The only way to get rid of fades are to remove drums, dev units and transfer belt . Put it back together and problem is gone . Will work for bout 100 copies then come back . Any ideas ?

Is the firmware up to date?

But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

New firmware yep . Machine had black density issue so we put in new style black dev . Black density sorted now . I get the light fade across c,m and y . It looks like circumference of something turning . If I make copy of solid black sheet in mono mod its fine . If I make full colour copy of solid black sheet I get these bands . If I print full individual colour sheets of c,m and y I get the faded bands . But like I said , whe take out all units , devs , drums , belt etc, do dev and drum refresh , put all units back then copies are fine for a period . Could it be the other dev units that also need to be replaced ? Kyocera Mita copiers are bit new to me as we have been Panasonic dealer for bout 20 years but had to change as Panasonic stopped manufacturing A3 copiers .

We are a Panasonic dealer too. Not bad color machines for their time. Still have a bunch of 322`s running.
