The machine jams j18 just past fsw1 obviously it only happens from tray 2. from tray 1 & 3 no problem. I swapped paper feed units 1 & 2 with no change. tray 1 remains ok and tray 2 jams. I checked the sw in maint mode (ok). Firmware is latest. Any ideas?

updated lower door, make sure lower door on left has two springs on idler rollers not one single spring, it should have two springs

Thanks Slope I'll go back and check it out. I finally called tech support and they told me they had a couple of instances where replacing main pwb resolved the problem. But hey thanks again n I'll check that out first.

It's an important customer. My boss wants me to go fully loaded. When we get the pwb's I'll go back. Will let you know when it's done

I had one that jammed like that, the only way I could get it to feed was to use the bypass, mine ended up being the photo sensor in the registration area.

It will be the vertical conveying switch from drawer 2. Even though it checks out OK in simulation. Just replace it .....
